Katherine (Kate) Villagran is an experienced technical writer and editor with an established record of success in the science, healthcare, and marketing arenas. At ISCA, Kate supported a writing and R&D team that secured funding for projects involving innovative, sustainable insect pest and vector management technologies, and provided writing and editing support for numerous articles and book chapters on the subject of semiochemicals and their use to manage harmful arthropods, including multiple pests of agriculture and forestry and vectors of disease.
As Technical Writer and Project Administrator for ArcGen, Kate works with ArcGen’s Project Manager, Jesse Saroli, in planning, coordinating, and progress tracking of R&D projects with internal and external partners; drafting detailed, compliant documentation of all project tasks (for future productization, registration, and publication purposes); and the consolidation of resulting data and generation of reports, presentations, and manuscripts to disseminate project results to a range of audiences, both commercial and academic.
